taking a cue from the professionals

Nowadays, the professional tennis circuit is a veritable fashion runway. Its stars are incredible athletes but also style MVPs. Who can forget Serena Williams in her Black Panther inspired catsuit (and its subsequent unjust ban) at Roland Garros last year? Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki are always fashion forward. And Sloane Stephens is so elegant in her monochrome jewel-toned outfits.

As the temperatures rise in New York and elsewhere, and we prepare to resume playing outdoors, we went in search of the most on-trend and stylish luxury tennis attire that live up to our tennis style muses.

go from the court to the street

These are outfits to show off and wear all day as many of our friends do all summer. Popping up at the supermarket, the coffee shop and the park in full gear – the better to invoke envy from the rest of us over their lifestyle of leisure. And who can blame them? There’s something timeless, posh and elegant about a busy woman in smart tennis gear. If luxury is about evoking dreams of ease and plenty, it’s hard to beat showing up in a crisp tennis dress, sparkling white sneakers and a swishy ponytail.
