Curated road trips and bespoke vehicles following itineraries from by top hotel and automotive brands – including Aman, Mercedes, Lexus and Four Seasons – are a hot trend in luxury travel. If you’re ready to hit the road, alone or with your squad, have a look at these amazing curated road trips and scenic luxury driving vacation itineraries for 2022.
what are the best luxury curated road trips to take in 2022?
Self-driving luxury road trips have experienced a remarkable boom since the arrival of the global coronavirus pandemic. Even the wealthiest travelers aren’t keen on shared spaces (even First Class feels too crowded when you’re afraid of getting sick or hate wearing a mask for several hours).
So when they’re not flying private, elite travelers are increasingly taking to the road in either bespoke vehicles or carefully edited itineraries that allow them to relax and enjoy the ride. Which is a great way to have a lower-risk luxury experience. Plus the pandemic puppies and quarantine kittens can come along, too!

Or maybe the Prague to Budapest itinerary, which includes a stop at a small village called Lednice that’s home to a 12th-century chateau.
