We used to drive through the Great Smoky Mountains as kids on our way to visit our grandparents. We still have precious memories of their misty greenness. And this might be an ideal time to pay another visit so we can check out Blackberry Mountain, sister resort to the beloved Blackberry Farm. Wellness treatments, hikes, gorgeous scenery and outstanding food – sounds like the perfect vacation to us.

If you haven’t already, it’s high time to visit the National Museum of Qatar. Housed in a dramatic building designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the collection harkens back to Qatar’s heritage while also celebrating its future. “Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech” will be on display until the end of March 2022.

But that’s not all. The Qatar International Food Festival, which takes place from March 27-29, 2022, is great fun. Afterward, you can hang out at The Pearl-Qatar, a man-made island located off the West Bay coast that’s often referred to as the Arabian Riviera. If you have time, you can venture outside the city to go sand-boarding, take a camel ride, and explore the stunning Ras Abrouq rock formations.
