Dunkin’ beat them by 2 weeks, bringing back their pumpkin treats (including donuts, muffins and scones) in mid-August. Clearly, the world is hungry for all things pumpkin spice! There are hundreds of pumpkin spice foods, beverages, sweets and more. But which pumpkin spice products actually taste good? 5. Stan’s Donuts Old Fashioned Pumpkin Spice Donuts.

The original Stan’s Donuts was founded in Los Angeles in 1963, and it became a mecca for handmade, old-fashioned doughnuts. After the original closed in 2020, Chicago became the sole outpost for these luscious sweets. Thankfully, for the rest of us, we order a 12-pack of their pumpkin spice donuts online just in time for the start of the season.

7. Harvest Moon Pumpkin Bundt Cake from We Take the Cake.

This moist Bundt cake is from one of our favorite bakeries, We Take the Cake. Pumpkin puree, allspice, and cinnamon flavor the cake, and its topped with a creamy caramel glaze.  The bakery says it serves up to 8 people – but in our house, we’re pretty sure 3 or 4 of us would make it disappear.

8. L.A. Burdick Chocolate Ghosts

In addition to this luxury chocolatier’s adorable Chocolate Ghost, there’s a new autumn flavor this year: Pumpkin spice cider dark chocolate ganache. Made by hand with organic pumpkin, five different spices, and local New Hampshire apple cider, each little ghost is filled with this new ganache, and covered in white chocolate. We are totally not frightened by these tiny spirits from beyond – in fact, we’ll feel haunted if we don’t grab at least a couple of boxes of these in the coming weeks. $3.75 per ghost, or $18 for a box of 5.

9. Chobani Pumpkin and Spice Greek Yogurt.

Of all the pumpkin spice flavored foods, drinks and treats that pop up this time of year, this is actually the one we most look forward to. Chobani’s pumpkin spice yogurt is the perfect autumn dessert – and we should just note that it’s totally addictive, so you might want to stock up on it. It’s limited edition, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
