The luxury pop-up is alive and well for summer 2018, joined by an increasing number of “nomadic retail journeys” by luxury brands. Translation: a fun truck full of exclusive merchandise travels around and shows up in lots of glamorous locations. Can we just say, that’s the best idea ever? Here’s a round-up of a baker’s dozen cool luxury fashion and beauty pop-ups and nomadic journeys, coming soon to a chic location near you. If you weren’t already coming down with a bad case of summer wanderlust, this will definitely get you there. We say let’s visit them all!

1. Chanel is taking its summer vacation on the island of Capri in Italy for the second year running, setting up shop on Via Camerelle. The pop-up summer destination will be open until October 14, offering up a selection of pieces from the Métier d’Art Paris-Hamburg 2017-2018 collection and the new Coco Beach line.

2. Christian Louboutin‘s latest temporary shop, dubbed “Loubi Beach,” is on the Greek island of Mykonos (it’s being run in collaboration with the local boutique Enny di Monaco). The walls are lined with must-have items from Louboutin’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection – and the ceiling features an installation inspired by the island’s denizens — a series of dangling feet shod in some of the brand’s most popular styles.

3. Oscar de la Renta has opened a pop-up shop in Boston. The brand’s first freestanding store in the city is located at 24 Newbury Street. The space is 1,600 square feet and includes ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, jewelry from resort and spring as well as children’s wear. Fall bridal will be available by appointment and the pre-fall and fall collections will be on site, available for pre-order. Open through June 30.

4. Cult California cool girl brand Reformation is popping up again in the Hamptons this summer, bringing their signature floral sundresses and striped crop tops to East Hampton. The sustainable brand will be hosting their “Beach House” all summer long at 85 Main St. The brand’s new Destination Collection includes an edited group of seven vacation-ready pieces ranging in price from $198-248.

5. Contemporary Brazilian shoe brand Schutz debuted its first New York pop-up store at 121 Prince Street in Manhattan earlier this month. The shop features standout technological capabilities, like RFID mirrors, a selection of summer-ready shoes and a sneaker customization station. Signature Schutz styles include sexy two-strap heels, gladiator sandals, caged stilettos and espadrille wedges.

6. Jonathan Adler celebrates his brand’s 25th anniversary with a summer-long takeover of the home floor at Barney’s New York. The store was the first to place an order the ceramist’s line, way back in 1993, and it will now offer exclusive products from the artist until the end of August.

7. L’Occitane hits the road with a nomadic retail venture this summer. The L’Occi-truck is on a cross-country trip from Washington DC to Los Angeles (the truck is scheduled to arrive there in October). The festive vintage French Citroen truck is part of broader trend toward mobile pop-ups — they’re a relatively inexpensive way to gain PR, test new products, and try out new marketing and technology without disrupting an established retail location.

8. In a similar vein, Madewell is sending a branded “ice cream truck” to specific locations in the Hamptons on set days this summer. Shoppers will be able to “scoop up” sunglasses, beauty products, hats, bags and other items that are also available in their retail store. It starts on June 30 in Sag Harbor, before making its way to Amagansett and Montauk.
