Here are some of the ones that caught our eye in yellow, caramel brown, orange and deep red.

1. Yellow luxury handbags for fall-winter 2019-20

New to Chloé’s bag family, the Chloé C Mini shoulder bag ($1,990) is crafted in Italy from calf leather in an embossed crocodile effect. We love this yellow iteration. Valentino Garavani’s VSLING design comes in vibrant yellow ($2,575), making it a new-season statement-maker. Balenciaga’s classic mini City shoulder bag ($1,650) has silver-tone studs, bright yellow crinkled leather and a fringed zipper.

Balenciaga’s structured Ville S tote ($2,150) is updated in a bold yellow hue this season. The top-handle style is crafted in Italy from grained calfskin. Loewe’s belt bag version of its Gate cross-body ($1,550) is scaled-down to compact proportions and silhouetted with black lacquered edges. And the brand’s Heel belt bag ($890) is updated for Fall ’19 in a vibrant yellow hue – PorterEdit describes it as “the fashion equivalent of a slice of sunshine.”

The interlocking Double G logo from Gucci, which represents the initials of the founder, is reintroduced for FW19 on this Small GG Ring leather shoulder bag ($2,590). The buttery-yellow design is made in Italy. This leather shoulder bag ($565) from Ganni’s first handbag collection has a drawstring design and features an adjustable top handle and removable logo key chain. “It-brand” Bottega Veneta’s BV Angle tote ($3,200) is designed in a long trapezoid shape, making it totally on-trend.

2. Brown-caramel luxury handbags for fall-winter 2019-20

The classic caramel and deep brown of late autumn can be found in this JW Anderson Logo medium leather shoulder bag in toffee-brown leather ($1,209). For a brighter take on the same hue, Christian Louboutin’s Rubylou shoulder bag ($1,850) is made in Italy from gold leather and foil. Mark Cross’ Grace structured boxy shoulder bag ($2,395) is modeled after the one Grace Kelly’s character carried in the 1954 film Rear Window. Elegant and chic, it’s made in Italy from gold velvet with a red interior.

Chloé’s Aby Lock bag ($1,690) debuted at the Fall ’19 show in Paris, and it’s one of the “it” bags for this season. Ratio et Motus’s Twin Frame bag ($1,495) is named for the mini-clutch at the front that one can unscrew and carry separately. The sand and brown hues make for a perfect fall neutral color palette. The inspiration behind The Sant’s tote is Kinchaku bags, which are traditionally used to hold a woman’s most precious belongings. Handmade in Spain, the structured rectangular bag is topped with the label’s scrunched top handle.

The blazing oranges of autumn are captured in this version of the Danse Lente Phoebe Bis leather shoulder bag ($346). It has two inner compartments, with hardware inspired by the spiral binding of a school-time notebook. Making its debut for Fall ’19, this version of Chloé’s Aby Lock bag ($2,250)  is made from jewel-toned panels of lizard-effect, croc-effect and smooth leather in orange, green and caramel. Loewe’s Hammock shoulder bag ($2,550) is crafted in the label’s native Spain from orange leather with gold-tone hardware.

This trunk bag from family-owned Italian label Rodo ($933) has a vintage autumnal vibe. Shaped like a jewelry box, it’s lined with brown faille and finished with gold-tone hardware. The Adenia bucket bag from designer Nico Giani ($454) has a structured main compartment made from crocodile-embossed leather suspended from an acrylic top handle. Carolina Santo Domingo’s Bangle tote ($800) is made of orange satin, and suspended from an acrylic hoop flecked with gold foil.

This Bottega Veneta Basket tote ($2,650) is made in Italy from orange leather; its subtly embossed with the house’s logo, and comes with a detachable pouch. The Jitney Furry pouch from Off-White ($390) is made in Italy from shearling with tonal leather trim; it closes with a drawstring. Mansur Gavriel’s dark-orange triangle tote ($745) is made from vegetable-tanned leather and accented with gold logo lettering on the front.

4. Deep Red luxury handbags for fall-winter 2019-20

The Gucci Zumi small leather tote ($3,200) is a working woman’s dream – chic and functional, especially in burgundy for fall. We also love the rich color of this Ascot tote from The Row ($995). It’s made of burgundy satin. The new Valentino Garavani VSLING leather shoulder bag ($3,200) is a more modern take on the rich reds of fall.

The boxy Shirley mini-tote ($275) is one of STAUD’s bestselling bags, so you might want to consider grabbing this claret version while it’s still available. Hunting Season’s signature handmade structured tote ($1,595) is updated for fall-winter in a bold hue the label calls Chili Red. Gucci’s Ring bag ($2,590) is decorated with the latest iteration of the iconic ‘GG’ hardware – it’s carved to create a ribbed texture. The bag has a blue interior fitted with plenty of pockets.
