Our Luxury Calendar provides a comprehensive overview of the top events unfolding around the world every month. Some are micro-luxuries (like a really good book) and others are on a grand, epic scale. Personally, if schedules and money were no object, and we could do anything we like, here are our top picks for the best luxury events and experiences in October 2019.

It’s a decade-in-the-making blockbuster, and the most significant exhibition in this 500th-anniversary year of the artist’s death. The Louvre houses nearly a third of Leonardo’s surviving artwork, including the “Mona Lisa,” and reservations are a must – Opening October 24, 2019

On our list of top picks in the world of luxury this October is what’s very likely the biggest event of the fall arts season: the reopening of the Museum of Modern Art. After a summer-long renovation, the MoMA throws open its doors. On view will be solo presentations from Betye Saar, Pope.L  and Haegue Yang. As well as a survey of Latin American art recently gifted to the museum by Patricia Phelps de Cisneros.  We can’t wait to check it out – and then have a bite at one of our favorite restaurants in a museum, The Modern – October 21
